It gave her a specific goal to aim towards and became an example of discipline and accomplishment to her teenage daughter.  Marisa found that her work-out days became moments in life where she could dial in and push aside all the other distractions.

She was intensely focused and loved pushing around some heavier weights.  She worked hard .... a blood, sweat and tears kind-of hard.
